Statement of the Problem
In today’s fast-paced financial landscape, the link between creditworthiness and mental health is increasingly evident as individuals grapple with financial stress and its profound impact on overall wellness. Poor credit scores can lead to heightened anxiety, depression, and a sense of helplessness, undermining a person’s ability to make sound financial decisions and secure opportunities for growth. At Credit Restoration Institute, our commitment is to provide holistic support that addresses both financial rehabilitation and mental wellness, ensuring individuals can rebuild their creditworthiness and regain control over their financial and personal lives.
"I recognize the value of asking for and receiving help and how difficult that may be to do. I bring to the relationship an atmosphere of safety, acceptance and confidentiality. In addition to traditional therapies, I am an EMDR trauma therapist, and a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor.
As far as social distancing...you may request a HIPAA compliant, confidential video session at no extra charge. Telehealth is covered by most insurance companies and is a safe alternative to face-to-face interaction."

Credit restoration is an intervention that consists of services designed to improve an individual’s creditworthiness, which can positively contribute to reducing debt and the financial stress and psychosocial indicators associated with indebtedness. In addition, credit repair schools offer valuable education on these services. Findings obtained in the pilot research study on the impact of creditworthiness on financial well-being, anxiety, depression, and hopelessness suggest the need to enhance or create services programs and interventions as collaborative interdisciplinary initiatives, potentially facilitated through a credit restoration portal.
Credit worthiness is the extent to which a person is considered suitable to receive financial credit, often based on their reliability in paying money back in the past. This concept of credit worthiness has a significant effect on one's mental health. For many, access to basic human needs is heavily reliant on your credit score. Unfortunately, those with poor or bad credit may find themselves trapped in a cycle of debt, leading to increased anxiety, depression, and hopelessness. To address these issues, individuals can explore credit repair schools and utilize a credit restoration portal to improve their financial standing and overall well-being.
Our approach to diversity is simple: it’s about embracing everyone. From cultivating a culture where all employees can bring their best selves to work to deploying diversity initiatives that support all, we’re committed to building a more equitable workplace and society. This commitment extends to our partnerships with credit repair schools and resources like our credit restoration portal, which aim to empower individuals in their financial journeys. "If every member of society doesn't focus on helping every member of our society, then who are we as a society?" Robert Linkonis, Executive Director.
