HOUSING SUSTAINABILITY:

We provide leaders with actionable information as well as support local and regional housing networks, while encouraging a healthy lending and financial environment for all participants/renters. Our foreclosure intervention services can help you navigate through challenging times, and CRI can assess your situation to make recommendations based on current government or lender programs. Together, you and your Counselor can draft a process that suits your current financial situation the best. For those interested in learning more about financial management, we also provide resources through credit repair schools and access to our credit restoration portal to enhance your financial literacy.

Credit Worthiness

Credit worthiness is the extent to which a person is considered suitable to receive financial credit, often based on their reliability in paying money back in the past. This concept of credit worthiness has a significant effect on one's mental health. For many, access to basic human needs is heavily reliant on your credit score. Unfortunately, those with poor or bad credit may find themselves trapped in a cycle of debt, leading to increased anxiety, depression, and hopelessness. To address these issues, individuals can explore credit repair schools and utilize a credit restoration portal to improve their financial standing and overall well-being.

Restoration and Well Being

Credit restoration is an intervention that consists of services designed to improve an individual’s creditworthiness, which can positively contribute to reducing debt and the financial stress and psychosocial indicators associated with indebtedness. In addition, credit repair schools offer valuable education on these services. Findings obtained in the pilot research study on the impact of creditworthiness on financial well-being, anxiety, depression, and hopelessness suggest the need to enhance or create services programs and interventions as collaborative interdisciplinary initiatives, potentially facilitated through a credit restoration portal.
